Become a Member
MLCommons is a community-driven and community-funded organization with Members and Affiliates from across the globe. As an open engineering consortium, Member or Affiliate status is available on a non-discriminatory basis to all organizations, corporations, academic researchers, nonprofits, government organizations, and individuals.
MLCommons Membership offers several benefits:
- Access to and influence on all MLCommons working groups, including MLPerf Training and Inference, Datasets, and Research groups.
- Participation in the benchmark review process.
- The ability to submit and share public results for MLPerf Training, Inference, and Mobile benchmark suites.
- MLCommons Members get a voice in the direction of the organization. Voting member representatives are eligible to become working group chairs and run for and vote in elections for the MLCommons Board of Directors.
- Co-marketing support for MLPerf results and MLCommons related activities.
- Paid MLCommons Members are listed on the MLCommons website.
If you are interested in becoming a MLCommons Member and are not part of a member company, please contact [email protected]. If your organization is already a Member (check the Member logos at the top of this page), then simply fill out our subscription form with your organizational email address to join MLCommons working groups.
Please note that BIS-listed entities can join MLCommons as Members and enjoy nearly all of the benefits, but cannot participate in closed activities*
*Closed activities include: participation in a non-public benchmark review process, participation in the Inference Mobile working group, and serving as a working group chair or on the board of directors.

Join our
Discord server
MLCommons uses Discord for group collaboration and communication. Join the Discord server here.
What happens after I join?
Once you have joined the server, you will need to accept the server rules, which include the MLCommons Code of Conduct. We also ask that you set your server nickname to identify your name and the company/entity you represent, e.g., John Doe (Initrode).
Which channel do I join?
The Discord server is organized into several channels, and each Working Group has its own category and channels. When you first join the Discord server, the onboarding wizard will ask you to select the Working Groups that interest you and will then make the corresponding categories and channels available based on your answers. If you would like to hide or reveal channels, visit the “Channels & Roles” tab to change your answers or browse the available channels.
Please note that not all channels are available to everyone. Channels corresponding to Working Groups with access restrictions require that users have a “Member” Role. Public channels (e.g., #general-chat) and channels corresponding to Working Groups with no access restrictions are open to anyone.
MLCommons Calendar
The MLCommons Submissions Calendar includes dates for all MLCommons benchmark submissions. The Events Calendar includes dates for all public working group and community meetings.
Community Events
We hold quarterly community events that are open to members and non-members. Please join us for our next event to learn more about what’s happening at MLCommons, and network with fellow community members.
